Shawnee Smith (5' 3") is an American television and film actress. Smith is best known for her role by the name of Amanda Young from the Saw films and as Linda from the CBS comedy Becker. Smith has also performed with the metal band Fydolla Ho with which she was on tour in across the United States and the United Kingdom and is half of Smith & Pyle an American rock group that features the actress Missi Pyle. Her parents are Jim Smith and Patricia Smith. Jim Smith was an ex-US Air Force pilot, an oncology physician and financial planner. As a child she moved with her family from South Carolina (now Van Nuys) to California. At the age of two, her parents divorced and at eight her mother was married yet again. She went to Ranchito Avenue elementary school in Panorama City Los Angeles, and Madison Jr. High School in North Hollywood. North Hollywood High School is located at North Hollywood California.
