Ari Lennox

Courtney Shanade Salter, born March 26, 1991, often referred to professionally as Ari Lennox, hails from Washington, D.C. and is the debut female to sign for J. Cole's Dreamville Records label. The label debuted her first EP, Pho, in October of 2016 when she began to gain recognition. Shea Butter Baby her debut studio release was May 7th 2019. The record Revenge of the Dreamers II, she appeared on the track Backseat with Cozz. In the month of October, she released her first EP, Pho. Ari Lennox later appeared on J. Cole's song Change and performed as an opening act on the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour in the year 2017. The singer also performed in the music videos Nothing but the Best by EarthGang and Icarus together with Bas and her labelmates. The debut album of Ari Lennox Shea Butter Baby was released on 16 July 2018. The first single, Whipped Cream The album's first single, Whipped Cream dropped on the 5th of September, 2018 and featured a a music video. Then, on the 9th of November the singer released two more singles called 40 Shades of Choke (and Grampa). On the 13th of November, two brand new singles called One and Pedigree. One and pedigree. She was featured with Cole on her Creed II Soundtrack on Shea Butter Baby On November 16, and then made the track available as a solo single on the album she released her debut. In February of 2019, a music video was made available for the track. It has already received more than 3 million hits on YouTube in its first week. In December 2018 she performed on The From East Atlanta With Love Tour featuring 6LACK.
